Looking after work that is being done in DataCentres, maintaining security and capacity while planning daily activities in them. Overlooking projects like Eclipse to migrate full DCs to new Halls. My responsibilities:
- Asset tagging and tracking of equipment
- Change, DC availability, and problem management
- Demand management
- Quality assurance of DC operations
- Installations and inventory control of IT infrastructure
- Inventory control
- Installation of security devices in DC
- Produce rack and cabling capacity reports
- Plan cable routes within, to, and from whitespace
- Installation & inventory control of racks, cabling, & network
- Capacity management of DC Halls
- Continual Service improvements
- DC operations maintenance
- Access control and approval
- Training and development
- Maintenance of IT Systems

- Vendor management

Working with DC management tools like nLyte, Sunbird, PowerIQ. Daily work with Jira, after that with SNow.

Managing projects. Finding and resolving computer problems, including hardware or software. Making sure all systems are up and running. Performing migrations from old systems to new ones, including Azure, AD, mailing, and etc. Working mainly with Windows OS. Troubleshooting and resolving networking problems. Work with servers (AD for user configuration problems, DHCP for static IP reservations, Grou[ Policies to include or exclude users or groups with rules and other). Keeping a close connection with customers, as all of the tickets are coming from a variety of companies. Working in banks like Western Union and SEB, keeping their systems up and running, deploying apps, configuring, and updating every kind of apps and systems.
Working in Data Centers in Denmark (installing new servers, network equipment into racks, connecting everything, cable managing, changing bad parts or upgrading old ones, setting up primary configuration).

Working on a new asset tracking application instalation and integration with an old infrastructure to have a quick aand seamless transition.
