Archaeologist
- Conducting commissioned archaeological research across various sites in Lithuania.
I was born on August 15, 1983, in Panevėžys, Lithuania. Upon graduating from Panevėžys Juozas Miltinis Secondary School in 2003, I commenced my studies in archaeology at Vilnius University. Throughout my studies, I participated in annual field placements in Kernavė and pursued employment there. Since 2008, I have also worked as a Certified Cultural Heritage Protection Specialist. My research encompasses comprehensive archaeological investigations in settlements, cemeteries, and manor sites in various regions of Lithuania.
Since 2009, my scholarly focus has been on archaeological ceramics collections. I have dedicated my research to the systematic analysis and organization of collections, both my own and other researchers. I enhanced my skills through participation in practical training sessions, seminars, and academic conferences. Based on ceramic research, I prepared master's and doctoral theses.
In addition to my specialization in ceramics, I am interested in applying social theories of archaeology, settlement archaeology, and the archaeology of the Late Iron Age and medieval periods. My research interests also extend to typological studies and the application of statistical data analysis in archaeological contexts.
